I’m 100% convinced it definitely was a hoax. I was sure of it the moment it happened. I wasn’t even surprised - “Oh, here we go! An ‘assassination attempt?’ Of course!”

Then his ear, which should have been nearly torn off, heals entirely in about 2 weeks?

AND they barely mention it, because they don’t want anybody looking too closely at it, and realizing that they blew an innocent (okay, MAGA, so not that innocent) man’s head off in front of his family. Someone, probably more than one, on their side is responsible for murder.

Yeah, I’m fairly certain he simply got some color. Remember that he spent several years getting pretty involved with pro wrestling. And the wound was frankly far too clean, and healed far too quickly. Cartilaginous damage tends to leave some kinda messy scars, and are often noticeable with even the best healthcare, but he’s got nary a scratch.

He was hit by shrapnel, not a bullet. Which is why it took them an extra week to get their favorite sketchy doctor to give a false medical report after the first doc refused to say it was a bullet wound

There were reports of Trump being in a haze afterwards, like he had PTSD.

Also, there’s specific accounts of that guy being so bad at guns that his school gun team kicked him out.

They’re generally well organized for competitions. Lots of countries have them for airguns when they can’t get full firearms. They emphasize safety and shooting skills.

He was specifically kicked out because he shot across lanes. That’s a huge safety risk and will get you kicked out of most ranges. The club acted correctly.

Yeah, for a nation that is as obsessed with firearms as the United States, the people there are shockingly poor marksmen.

I once had someone at a range tell me “Well, I live in the city. I don’t get out to the range as often,” and I replied “I don’t own a gun.”

Fundamentals are fundamentals. Most people learn how to pull the trigger and think they’re Rambo. You wouldn’t believe the amount of times I’ve had to tell people they’re loading their mags BACKWARDS.

Mainly because the wrong people are the vast majority of gun owners.
