I once had someone at a range tell me “Well, I live in the city. I don’t get out to the range as often,” and I replied “I don’t own a gun.”

Fundamentals are fundamentals. Most people learn how to pull the trigger and think they’re Rambo. You wouldn’t believe the amount of times I’ve had to tell people they’re loading their mags BACKWARDS.

You know where I first learned my most important lesson of firearm safety? An anime from the 80s called Saber Rider and the Stat Sheriffs. The lesson was, “the gun is always loaded”. It was repeated to me throughout my military career.
