Even then, there’s some differences between them and within them… I’d happily vote for Mamdani if I was in New York, for instance.

I say nothing as a blanket statement as a general rule of thumb, but most democrats are no different then the Republicans. They are just into politics for the lifestyle. But some are genuinely ‘ok’. Much like ACAB, yes there are a few cops that are not the devil, but until they’re is systemic reform changing the whole establishment and preventing bad ones from existing (which are the vast majority), ADAB (all dems are bastards).

I think there’s some difference between tolerating shit colleagues (most of the “non-devil” cops), and actively trying to change the system from within (at least some of the democrats). I guess maybe there are some actively progressive cops, seems like that’d be a hard mission though…

The problem is, NO ONE gets to the federal level as a elected politican without being a millionaire first.

It’s classism, writ large on the lot.

Ok, can we just take a second to acknowledge the fact that you are trying to nitpick grammer in a debate about the moral and ideological quality of political groups. I really have nothing to say except for the fact that those kind of arguements have a history of being employed to try and undermine valid arguements by attacking the ‘intelligence’ of groups such as African-Americans to try and discredit their struggles and pain. (not trying to say it means that mine is more valid because you made that redirection, but please consider the implications of that tactic)

They may have one or two of the same goals (money, superiority complex, etc), but there is one side that is not actively not trying to bring about the fourth reich.

~Hint: The “lesser of two evils” are the dems, and not voting for them because they’re not perfect is (and I don’t usually go to this extreme) the most stupid and asinine argument any idiot could come up with.~

^In fact, dare I say, that the whole “both sides” argument is an argument created and propagated by the alt-right simply to sow discord among everyone else. The proverbial straw man fallacy, if you will.^

Agreed. Another element is that the Democrat platform “allows” for a wide range of issues and progressive ideas. The controlling faction (the ones that share greed and power values with the Republicans) stifles any real change however in order to maintain power and status quo. Progressive ideals in the Republican party are a non-starter so there is nowhere else to go. Really what ought to be happening is the Republican party getting demolished for its anti-American, anti-people, anti-freedom racist and fascist actions and a more progressive party created to compete with a possibly saner and more centric and cleaned up Democratic party. Gonna have to take out the nazi trash first though.

There are sooo many other issues (especially with foreign/wealthy interference), but it can all be done with effort and inclination. Now where did we put that box of it?

Stop rewarding corporate captured centrist parties for failure. They will be annihilated next time around if they come back offering the same plate of shit.

The Dems need to learn from Republican successes. Those fucks have fully embraced the far-right, so the Dems need to put forward a true leftist agenda to fight back. Centrist politics have completely collapsed, it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee.

I feel like what determines whether the democrats move fully to the left or not is if Zohran is able to deliver on many of his promises. If he fails they’ll use it as justification that the party should be moving more rightward. However if he succeeds, then the sky is the limit

I mean, Latin countries are certainly in danger too.

A fascist America means cold war era coup attempts in Latin countries are back. Maybe the US support won’t be in any way incognito whatsoever this time. US might straight up be sending troops all over Central and South America soon.

Look at what’s happening to Venezuela right now.

              Prepare for it to esculate.

At least if we still had a democracy, it’d be easier to both spread the word and engage in meaningful protest to stop or severely hinder it domestically.

We don’t get that now. Nearly no mainstream media outlet has made mention of Venezuela until a Dem asked about it this week, and even so it ain’t getting the coverage it needs.

Don’t talk about things that are actually going on, use fictional hypothetical allegories with anthropomorphized insects to illustrate a very narrow and specific kind of rationalism that isn’t supported by reality. It is such a specific and narrow way of thinking that the only way to support an argument is baby bullshit with talking ants.

In other words: insects don’t vote, be serious. This isn’t relevant and people are dying. Stop running interference for the second worst people this degenerate society vomits into existence.

This is still a racist meme. So immigrants and minorities are being equivocated to roaches now?

When this is all over, the world needs to have kept notes on all who enabled/encouraged/maintained paradigms that were naziesque in nature.

This meme reeks of gated community democracy. “It’s the OK as long as it’s not in my neighborhood!”
