The #FLX1 wasn’t just a rebranded gigaset, its just they both were getting the (almost) same phone from the same manufacturer. And as I understand its just not possible anymore to get it, thats why they went to #FLX1s, which at this time is completely new phone.
The unfortunate hardware decisions (jack, battery) were financially necessary to stay afloat, as it turns out its now cheaper to make a phone without jack and removable battery, based on their words
