Took melatonin last night. Woke up with a headache and drowsiness. Read some papers and it turns out the optimal dosage is 0.3 mcg according to some. I probably ended up taking 1.5mg. Ya live and ya learn.

Geoffrey here (yep that’s his name) is my aunt’s dog who’s going to be 8 this year. My aunt lived with us for some of his life, so my family developed a close bond with him. When my aunt lived with us, G would get really excited when we came home and sprint to us.
Lately, he hasn’t been his usual self. We thought it was just old-ish age and he was mellowing out. But today, my aunt found a lump under his armpit, and now the vet are testing it to see if it’s the big C.
Hoping it’s nothing.

A New Word Has Been Added To Your Vocabulary
Went to a gig at The Forum last night and it is a stunning theatre. Could not see much because short and squished, but was a nice night of music. I hope to go see more live music but local acts next time, and I might actually be able to see the band.
Thank you to all who shared their thoughts on how long they think is too long to commute for a job. I think I’ll apply anyway to have a chance at something, but it’s probably not my first choice. On the upside, I would beat the traffic for the most part.
How far is too far to travel for a job?
I saw an ad for a job that’s about 45 minutes one way by car (non-peak) and around an hour and a half by PTV. It is similar to my former uni commute in peak times. It would only be for two days a week so maybe it wouldn’t be that bad.
If flies are coming in through that skylight, it’s pretty silly of them to deem it a non issue. Sorry you have to put with this.
I proposed a Canberra trip to my aunt and she said maybe. One state / territory every year and they will all be ticked off in five years.
Canberra has a Costco and Aldi next to the runway.

Had a good night. Ate dinner with my sister and her friend, and then had a couple of drinks and a nice chat with a friend of a friend. The latter part was kind of scary because social anxiety, but this person wants to work with neurodivergent kids, so she might have understood any kerfuffles.
Funny you say that, because I have a friend who’s fallen victim to advertising for beauty products. We walked into a makeup store, and suddenly she knows everything about every product, and all the claims that people have made about them. Scary shit.
Having a guitar is like having a weighted blanket. It makes me feel comforted for some reason.
