Resistance to authoritarianism isn’t oppression I just don’t like the symbolism.
Symbolism and political ideology help with the resistance’s effectiveness. The ones on the pic have been tested in service.

The boot is a tool. Using it to oppress the working class is bad and cringe, using it to oppress the bourgeoisie is good and based.
Or maybe you don’t need to oppress anyone because the redistribution of stolen value isn’t oppression, but enslaving them in turn is.
And how do you keep those who stole all that value in check while it is being redistributed without “boots”?
