Profit? I recall we gave trillions of dollars to the American military on the promise that they were going to wipe out the Taliban and restore the rights of Afghanistan women. Not only did they fail and leave the Taliban stronger than before, they couldn’t even pass an audit to tell us how they spent the money, even in the broadest not-secret terms. Somebody definitely made a profit, Halliburton and Blackstone among them.
And you’d think they’d be clamoring for more, but they’re just fine selling to Israel & Ukraine for now. If the Gaza situation holds, maybe they’ll go back to that well. Or maybe not considering Trump probably doesn’t want to upset the business deals he’s made with neighboring countries.
Regardless, we know the US ain’t exactly the bastion of decency nowadays, but will nobody else stand up to this?

I have no idea. And I’ve heard this “protecting women” and witnessed first hand the
B’sbs that is. But USA is clamoring for war everywhere.
