Hey, I’m Egor - the guy who keeps working on VOID instead of doing something actually profitable)

The project’s moving forward - slowly but surely. I lost my job, so now I’m living on the “no money but we’re holding on” level, haha.

But there’s progress — I’m almost done rewriting the core for the GPUI transition. It’s been tough, but the performance gains are absolutely worth it. This rewrite will make VOID truly native, fast, and future-proof.

    Just a suggestion, may be platform with more users like Reddit will help you more in your case right now.

    I love lemmy, but there are not much lemmy users out there. I hope more ppl can find these hidden gems.

      Yeah, I actually tried Reddit before. Funny story - every post about VOID got nuked within minutes, no matter the subreddit. Even people who just mentioned the project got shadowbanned. Lemmy might be small, but at least here you can exist without getting algorithmically erased.
