I just can not feel sorry for the stupid racist fucks. The midwest is sooo racist. They act all nice in public, but get them alone or get a. few beers in them and the truth comes out. They vote for trump because they don’t like people of color. They would rather vote for a pedophile, felon, traitor than accidentally give some tax dollars to non-white people.

Well, fuck them, I hope they lose the family farm.

I remember reading an interview from one of the soy producers president literally admitted they got wrecked with Trump’s first term tariffs, admitted they hadn’t fully recovered from those tariffs, implying that they did recover with Biden, and yet said he was supporting Trump and he trusted Trump to get a better deal.

And now they just lost their market to Argentina that Trump have 20 billion to as a bailout for failed Trump-ish policies there.

Leopards will continue to feast on these idiots.

I’m assuming most of them voted for him for the racism and assuming that he’d bribe/bail them out again.

I’ve never heard of “The Washington Standard” before, so I went poking around the internet. Media Bias Fact Check didn’t have a review of them, so I poked at The Way Back Machine at the Internet Archive. IA does have a record of them, so I chose a link completely at random. While this is the only link I’ve pulled up for them, I really don’t want to see any more of their articles. I don’t trust them as any kind of a “news” source, and I’m downvoting your link, OP.

Random archive.org link: Criminal Anthony Fauci Threatens “Unvaccinated”: They Will Undergo A Bit More “Pain & Suffering”.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the United States’ head medical tyranny has declared the un”vaccinated” will have to undergo a “bit more pain and suffering.” Is that a promise or a threat? Because no one who is unvaccinated has died from these so-called “vaccines.”

Fucking hell. AI is more coherent than that.

From slightly farther down the page,

Recently, Dr. Carrie Madej discovered that not only were there several weaponized ingredients in the children’s Pfizer COVID shot vials, but she obtained a list of all the frequencies of those ingredients, along with the rest.

Really sounds like they bought heavily into QAnon conspiracies during the pandemic. [Also, it looks like “Dr” Madej lost their medical license, probably because of their QAnon conspiracy bullshit, which can only lead to healthier outcomes for the folks in Georgia.]

Well, most of those farmers actually voted for the guy who brought them the trouble. So it is clear whom they should have to blame. But I guess we all know that they don’t, and desperately look for others to blame.

They made their bed, they must now lie in it.

    Edit:

The agriculture industry in the United States is deeply broken. Farmers are the foundation of it all, but they are being financially squeezed from every direction.

    • They are being squeezed by the giant monopolies that control the seeds, fertilizer and machinery that they need. (Overwhelmingly supported over and over again by the Republicans they voted for over decades.)
    • And they are also being squeezed by the giant monopolies that purchase most of what they produce. (Overwhelmingly suppoted by the republicans they voted for.)
    • Meanwhile, demand from overseas has dried up thanks to the global trade war. U.S. farmers really are facing a “perfect storm”, and as a result, most farms are losing money and bankruptcies are surging. (A direct result of the most recent and egregious Republican government they just fucking voted for, again)

American farmers are a special breed of stupid. Today’s lesson is about consequences. Will they learn? I doubt it. 30 years of this bullshit and they haven’t clued in yet. They will have to console themselves with the culture war victories. I wonder if farmers can get jobs as bathroom gender police or will they just get drunk and beat gays to death on a volunteer basis like they used to?

Iv basically never met a farmer that wasn’t some shade of the stereotypical dipshits who is scared of cities and thinks wifi will make them sterile.

Almost never meet a farmer who isn’t mechanically gifted, unreasonably knowledgeable and a quick study either.

It’s so baffling fucking confusing. Like how is it these traits manage to coexist in such a large range of people.

        • Abusive propaganda?

        • Talk radio in information vacuums?

        • Frankly, a civic system that totally left them behind?

        • Democrats that basically abandoned them to focus on cities and wealthy donors, and Republicans (policy-wise) on billionaires?

Not to speak of social media. Frankly, I don’t blame them at all. It’s amazing farmers are as functional as they are.

So that says to me there was a worse economic downturn for farmers in mid 70’s.

I know there was a bunch of junk with oil at the time. Is that what the downturn was about or was there something else happening at that time to beat on farmers specifically? Any history buffs with the inside scoop care to share?
