I liked him in Super with Rainn Wilson. It wasn’t a perfect movie but I thought his performance was fine and it was a fitting movie to anticipate the Marvel saturation in the coming years (which director James Gunn would eventually actively participate in).
I also thought he was fine in Inception. Not the standout performance of the movie but I didn’t walk out thinking “ugh, Elliot Page really gunked that up” or anything, and he apparently worked well enough with Christopher Nolan to get brought back in for The Odyssey.
Very good shout out with Super. I had forgotten that and he was truly amazing in it! While I don’t think he as terrible in Inception I don’t think it was a very good fit.
frankly never seen him in anything (not even Inception)
inception was fun, you should try it. Watch it on the worst display device you can for extra points (Nolan wanted people to get covid and make the pandemic worse, because he wanted people to see Tenet in cinemas instead of at home during the height of the pandemic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenet_(film)#Theatrical )
Same. I haven’t seen him in much (Umbrella Academy most recently), but he seems to be a decent actor. Nothing to get excited about, but not a bad actor by any stretch. He’s better than average, imo. I don’t understand the hate.
Looking at his profile, I didn’t even know there was a Flatliners remake. Gonna have to go watch that now.
What’s wrong with Elliot Page’s acting? I thought he was fine in previous works I’ve seen him in. Maybe not Oscar-winning but I’ve seen plenty worse.
I think he’s forgettable, but I wouldn’t say bad. There are actors who really stand out with a lack of acting ability. He’s just boring.
Absolutely nothing. If you make through Juno without at least grudging appreciation for his craft, I don’t know what to tell you.
I was so pumped on him after Juno, but I haven’t loved him in anything since.

I’m partial to Whip It too, but that’s probably just a me-thing.
Fair enough, he was fine in it but far from the main draw for me.
TBF I’ve just been really into Drew Barrymore since I saw ET in the theatre.
I can understand that.

Oh wow, hes so forgettable, I forgot he was in Inception…
