Say we lived in a society that let dogs vote. You wouldn’t have to hate dogs to be real about the fact that they’re not our intellectual equals and to be frustrated with a system that gives them decision power that affects everyone in society. And you’d be even more frustrated when people around you say you’re a bad person for being dog-phobic.
I think that’s the internal world he’s living in, based on a series of false premises that he genuinely believes to be true. I think that if these false facts were corrected then his conclusions would naturally improve. It’s how it worked for me.
