The real crisis is that discussion is still not possible and it’s been about a decade already and the donkey guy is still thinking we can talk it out.

Almost. The left-wing desperately wants to employ the tools of reason, facts, and logic. They can’t help it.

Ah, yes: the incredibly common sense banning of [checks notes]… hunting rifles?

What is happening in America is a terrorism problem, but both sides are so locked into the means they are ignoring the motives. The only two ways for Americans to recognize terrorism appear to be:

    1. The suspect is brown or,
    2. Something explodes

In America most hunting is done with shotguns loaded with slugs (or birdshot) or bolt action rifles. The rifle the FBI reported the shooter used is a pretty basic looking bolt action rifle. Same kind people everywhere sit in tree stands with, waiting for deer or elk.

The Mauser design is about 125 years old. The type of bullet is from 1906. There are a lot of these things floating around in the US. A worrying amount of them probably aren’t even locked up.

oh yeah thats silly. I initially thought you were refering to those ak47 look alikes. I have never heard anything about banning actual hunting rifles. I mean even the uk allows those and they are known for super strict gun laws.

“Common sense” ain’t terribly common among those on that side of the isle.
