I haven’t even finished Hollow Knight. I also just… Don’t really care that much for the 2D platformer genre. Love metroidvanias; just wish more were 3D. 🤷♂️
Outside of souls games–which IDK how many people would consider to be the same even though they mostly are but you just get keys or triggers to open alternate areas instead of some kind of tool/power progression–the only true Metroidvania series in full 3D I can name off the top of my head is Metroid Prime.
