idk if there’s a word for this, but i recently argued with someone who was ranting about “boat people”, referring to migrants coming to the UK. i was like “ohhh you mean sailors? I like their hats. mad respect to them, must be a tough job ay?” and then in front of everyone the bigot clarified they meant people who aren’t white entering the uk which then caused other people to confront him since they knew what he meant. basically i like getting them to show themselves up in front of everyone. like asking people who are against “DEI” what it stands for. always funny when a bigot is being vague on purpose and then they can’t resist saying what they really mean lol

I would do this, but am in America and don’t need to. Seriously, a guy I work with came up behind me about a year ago and said “I was in {city where I live} last weekend, and it’s starting to look like a third world country. Where did all the n-----s come from?”

Ask candidly how many third world countries he’s been to because he must know them well, compliment him on being an expert on the third world. Ask him how does he know the black population there is the same. Push to check because you care about the city you live once he responds. Be nice, ridiculously nice. Let him talk, answer yes no, or basically not know if something is unclear. At the end of that he’ll know he’s neither an expert nor that what he said was nice to anyone and that he’s now a big time moron on everyone’s eyes.

I’ll be honest, this did in question sounds too oblivious to care. I’m not the person you responded too though.

Same, it’s like a fun and really easy chess match. Emphasis on the really easy part cos it’s fucking nothing to be ten moves ahead of those morons.

The thing is, I don’t think they even care about the people in front of them. But it’s good that others know exactly what they mean.
