Mullin’s post-incident statement includes his referring to Andrew Jackson’s duelling, and canings on the Senate floor - and that such things should be brought back.

I for one would love to see all the geriatric shit stains like McTurtle forced to put-up or shut-up when they start talking bullshit.

Hell I’d gladly pay to watch Fled Cruz be flogged.

Marge, Gym, or Butthead start mouthing off again? Let the Sergeant at Arms give em the ole Mace of the House of Representatives.

Mullins (R-OK) repeatedly defended his actions. The former MMA fighter and a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame panned O’Brien to reporters as a “thug,” said he’s been “running his mouth forever” and “probably should have [his] butt whupped.”

    Over a tweet…

    Embarrassing and straight up sad.

Challenging someone to fight in a venue you know the fight will not be allowed to happen represents Oklahoma values? They may want to work on those.

Don’t forget, Mr. Plumber (Mullin) had to hide behind the seats, fear plain on his face, on january 6th 2021.

Like when a wannabe tough guy says “hold me back!” and then starts struggling toward the person they want to fight. Then the camera zooms out to show no one is holding them back and they’re just there flailing.

Not rising tensions, just a dumbass ® who is too childish or received one too many hits in the head to actually do his job.

Abortions are fine as long as you force them into the prison system as slave labor first.

You just can’t abort fetuses before they’ve had a chance to make money from them.

The GOP needs to watch that episode of Battlestar Galactica where Adama had them set up a boxing ring so the crew could all air out their grievances with each other. Gaetz and McCarthy can be the main event.

Considering the Dems have Fetterman and a younger bench overall this is another plan Republicans have not thought through

Time to roll my 401k into popcorn futures.

  • Another GOP idiot threatened the head of the FBI because the head of the FBI wouldn’t play along with the GOP idiot’s conspiracy theory about a ghost bus of FBI agents (which didn’t exist) stirring up the MAGAts on J6 (we all saw who really stirred them up). And Rand Paul is still holding up appointments because he’s not getting proof that doesn’t exist of whatever conspiracy theory he’s pushing about the origins of COVID. Pretty soon we’ll have a MAGAt demanding that the government release its secret files on how 5G turns vaccinated people into devil worshippers.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Moments later, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), a burly former mixed martial arts fighter, was was challenging Sean O’Brien, president of the Teamsters, to a fight during a hearing before the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.

As Mullin stood up to challenge O’Brien to meet him inside, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the HELP chair, pleaded with the GOP lawmaker to sit down, reminding him he was a U.S. senator.

The former MMA fighter and a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame panned O’Brien to reporters as a “thug,” said he’s been “running his mouth forever” and “probably should have [his] butt whupped.”

appeared to smile and jokingly punch the air while walking behind Mullin and a gaggle of reporters after they took part in the Senate GOP’s whip meeting.

We were there to be talking about … the crisis facing working families in this country, and the growing gap between the very rich and everybody else, and the role that unions are playing in improving the standard of living of the American people,” Sanders said.

He noted that he’s had lawmakers of different stripes take part in the workouts, even at contentious times, including Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) and former Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) when they ran against each other in 2018, Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) when he was a manager for former President Trump’s first impeachment trial, and Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.)
