Reminds me of Finkelstein’s wise words…I can’t exactly remember his wording, but you can easily find the video in Peertube.

He said something to the effect of : In almost all places in the world, it’s wise to ideologically separate a people from its government…except in !$ra€| because a) civil institutions are so deeply intertwined with the military, and b) the majority of the people do, indeed, support the government’s genocidal policies…

And then people say “it’s the state that’s the problem not the people of Israel.”

As if 2024 US didn’t teach us anything.

I find it so hard to believe that an ethnic group who have suffered an attempt at ethnic cleansing - being hunted, tortured and murdered - by the nazis could so quickly forget how that feels and be capable of doing it to another group. I’d imagine that any Jewish survivor of the WW2 concentration camps would be appalled that today Israel is now the one attempting ethnic cleansing.

…and yet that is exactly what they are doing. The only difference is their concentration camp is much bigger.

My comments have been deleted when I said we should intervene with force. I’m just trying to not get banned.
