i find it funny that i happen to be lgbt but was born in one of the countries that totally hates us. i’m nonbinary [she/he/they] and bi/pan :)

i moved to the us with my family at age 10 in 2013.

    While the U.S is having LGBTQ legal issues atm but tbh, compared to Russia atleast technically you’re still legally aloud to be LGBT, while in Russia, it’s more directly banned. For the most part Trump seems to be targeting public funds as a mean to try to enforce guidelines. However it’s not completely banned, ‘yet’.

    Meaning you’re still safe in private independent spaces to be what ever gender identity, and etc that you want. So while the U.s might not be a top choice, it’s not the worst choice for minority to live at.

    Hello! I also was born in Russia, but moved to EU three years ago. There are still a lot of lgbt people there who are in trouble, unfortunately… How’s the situation in the US now? Often hear alarming news from there, especially for trans people

        тут хорошо в этом плане (в Финляндии). i also don’t publically advertise that i’m non-binary but a lot of people on the streets don’t hesitate to express themselves
