I just watched this report in a segment from Democracy Now. I’ve also read it in a report from NPR. Maybe instead of criticizing sources, people could search for themselves before they comment. Just because you don’t like the facts a source relays, doesn’t mean it’s not true.

Now imagine if your baby was murdered by terrorists, you finally made peace with it thinking “at least they aren’t having to go through the trauma of being kidnapped and held hostage” only to find out your child is still alive and held hostage by these terrorists.
I did not put a label on “babies”, you did. It doesn’t matter what side does what to children, it’s wrong. Also, with the amount of misinformation coming out of this conflict, you expect me to believe your “both-side-isms” here with “it’s happening to a father in Israel”?

The vast majority of coverage is local sources, with a single line in a Reuters daily report. Says so in your article.
Your source may have a good ranking on MBFC but it is not a mainstream source in terms of readership. Looks like its somewhere in the 500-1000 range of US news sources.
Not to denigrate the tragedy. There are eight dead from inside a pediatric oncology department.
