The Senate Democratic leader plans to demand answers on Qatari influence in the United States and call for testimony from the attorney general.

For the most part, nominees aren’t subject to filibuster; the most that the Democrats can do is to slow the pace of approvals to a crawl, which they should have been doing from day 1. Next best time to do it for every nominee is today.

    People will say “But the Democrats are bad, too!” and they aren’t wrong. At least they were “Lawful Evil.” You can deal with that.

      This is very context-dependent, but in most cases those are trolls, rubes, and idiots.
