you can not trick me with this, you can not ask me to solve collatz conjecture hiding behind fruit emojis. Also I got the overline(0.99) = 1 so you did mean that no body can solve this. Take my upvote and leave

Gen z hated that there were alphabet letters in math so they made this monstrosity.

Goddamn it, I thought any hotdog would work because I thought the division symbol was just a plus. Just use a damn / for division!

Btw if anyone can solve this send me a message and I’ll give you $100. For totally innocuous reasons of course.

Nothing says we need to use whole numbers? Anything else will converge to 2,1,4,2,1,4,2,1…

0.1 on the other hand just keeps shrinking forever…

Edit: sorry, I should have answered in the form of an emoji: 🌭=🍉÷🍊

Not quite. You cannot determine whether 0.1 is odd.

If you define a number to be odd if N mod 2 = 1, then 0.1 is not odd.

If you define a number to be odd if N mod 2 ≠ 0, then 0.1 is odd.

As such, I would argue checking if 0.1 is odd would result in “unknown” and you cannot get the value of 🍎₁.

    Banana must be 0, so watermelon is 1 (x^0 = 1). Lemon/orange/whatever citrus is then 2.

So apple n = apple n-1 / 2 if hot dog is even.

    Apple1 is 2 means Apple2 is 1, meaning that for Apple3 we need to do Apple2 x3 + 1 = 4 Meaning Apple 4 is 2 again so that doesn’t work.

    I’m the 99.999%

It is 100. The best explanation I’ve heard about it is that in order for 2 numbers to be different, there must be a third number that is larger than the smaller number, but smaller than the bigger number. In other words, there must be at least 1 number that is in between the two numbers. Because there is no number that is between 99.999… and 100, that must imply that they are the same number
