I think over the course of the night we had 1 nat 20 (not counting the one that was rolled just as an “evens or odds” roll) and about 8-9 nat 1s. I rolled 6 consecutive single digits at one point. Fortunately the only 20 saved my character from being possessed so that was nice.
Out of boredom I rolled my cheesex d20 500 times and recorded the results. Turned out it was nowhere near uniform distribution, 20s being double uniform, and 1s being triple. I called it my chaos die.
Cursed die idea: a D20 with a normal distribution.
One of the dice packs on foundry is a “DM dice” that displays multiple 20’s, “TPK”, “DIE”, that kinda stuff, but outputs as normal to the chat. I like using it for bosses to scare the players.
Wil wheaton is definitely evidence in favor of people being cursed.
When your DM secretly switches out your dice for loaded ones.
Oh hey, that’s my dice. In game and in life.
I get its a joke, but this die is actually really not scary since you have nothing but a single result possible.
