Artist tagged it with 擬人化 (gijinka), which means personification. Here is example of just text+girl, but it still has tag ‘personification’.

Everyone has their own view, this particular author presented PostgreSQL as a girl with suspenders for very short shorts (like if they were elephant’s ears or smth), maybe it’s not as unusual as, for example this one, but I think it fits well enough to be here. Maybe it depends on the person, and so I shouldn’t post something like this too often (or mb at all). I don’t know much about art, so I just trusted the author’s tags, as I mentioned earlier. Thank you for your observation.

To be clear, my comment was less meant to criticize you and more to spark a discussion.

For me this image don’t really count as MorphMoe, but I don’t speak for this community as a whole and the upvotes show that there are people thinking otherwise.

I would say that image is not look like anime — rather 3d model. So MorphMoe for you is something less casual, like humanization animals or fantastic creatures. For example, that picture fits better than that? Cz for me they are the same (u know, like in the meme).

Right. I’m sometime just a bit lazy to write out the fitting term.

I personally prioritize the morph aspect. So the main characteristics and general structure of the source-object are kept and applied to a anthropomorphic body.

For example, that picture fits better than that

          For me, it does.
