Then corporations will create Nazi punching farms and they’ll create media and buy off right wing politicians to try to create more Nazis so they can add them to the farm.

I hate how the POS system at one of the gas stations near me instead of the normal “transaction successful” sound, plays the sound of Sonic taking a hit and losing all his rings.

It’s just too on the nose.

Uhm. Doesn’t Sonic drop rings? Not coins or there is some variant that does? Or are the rings money? I haven’t played much Sonic tbh.

Oh sure, I mean those golden rings looked valuable anyway not I care what it jumps out of the Nazi tbh 🤣

Although now of thinking it… The rings thing and Nazis… Maybe not the best as it reminds of the collected wedding rings and so on… Not that it would apply for this new Nazis they are talking about tough…

I am afraid that would make Nazis rich. I mean they could have “fight practice” and get money from it. I think Nazis would abuse the system.

What’s even considered a Nazi nowadays? Just someone who disagrees with your opinions? The term has become absolutely meaningless, completely stripped of its historical baggage.

Someone espousing almost identical politcal views to the Nazi party usually fits the bill. I haven’t seen anyone striping it of its historical baggage here except for your dumbass.

Oh, there are plenty of people trying to “strip it of its historical baggage”… or eventually they fall back to “Nazis are fine as long as they fight for us”:

        Others disagree:

PS: the sad thing is, one has to post this with a bunch of links, or risk getting called a tankie… and it can still get modded away.

I’ve heard Israeli call Hamas Nazis, Russians call Ukrainians Nazis, Ukrainians call Russians Nazis, random political figures calling other equally random political figures Nazis… Now I’m sure it’s sometimes called for, as you said, neo-nazism, for whatever reason, is a thing. I feel like it’s the same crap as calling any idea a tad on the left “commie” or “tankie”. It’s not a valid criticism to put everything under a blanket term, I would much prefer that people put reasoned arguments before irrational name-calling. But sadly politics is all about appeal to emotion, isn’t it? I feel deeply ashamed when I watch political “debates” in my country.

then you only get the tip of the iceberg.

The only thing you accomplish with this wish is the formation of groups who come after people who get called nazi, even if they are innocent.

This already happened a few centuries ago. Back then people used the term Witch to get rid of people they just didn’t like.

This reeks of Nazi apologia. There are plenty of hateful groups out here today using the same exact tactics as the Nazis did while avoiding the name because of the stigma around it and you think we’re the issue for calling them by what they are. Ridiculous.

People tend to inflationary use the term Nazi for everyone they politicaly don’t agree with.

We had similar stuff going on a few centuries back, witch hunts to be exact. People used the term Witch to get rid of people they just didn’t like. Even if they were innocent.

no they weren’t. that is a rewriting of history to fit your agenda. and is also unrelated to what I was saying. the concept of “gender” being malleable did not come into place until the 50’s at minimum.

No where does it say trans people were the first targets of nazis. It just says that a homosexual clinic by a jewish man was targeted, which is true. But the nazis were targeted jews/homosexuals, not trans people. Trans people were barely a concept back then. There’s a reason trans people are not mentioned anywhere on the wikipedia article for victims of the holocaust https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocaust_victims

That’s just not true at all, they had transvestite certificates prior to hitler taking power in 1933. What kind of made up revisionist history are you pushing to claim trans people were barely a concept? They got government issued documents to allow them to change their name and cross dress. What a line of made up bullshit.
