“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do” - JD Vance

Granted, most of their stories seem designed to increase suffering, but hey since when has that mattered to republicans? I guess they want to be sure the media has a lot to pay attention to.

Not if you ignore facts it isn’t. I personally think it is swell. I’m a real big fan of standing on the throats of already suppressed people, especially because I know it could never happen to me, I’m in the in group.

“Truthiness” on the Colbert Report doesn’t feel like a long time ago but I guess it was a long time ago.

Felt like it’s only gotten worse since he pointed it out.

  • Okay shit like this is why I felt the need to be on top of the news during the last trump term. It was extremely detrimental to my health but I also couldn’t stand the outright lies I’d hear repeated daily, like I need to be prepared and correct them before the misinformation really becomes fact and not gossip. Or something

I honestly don’t know how I’m gonna handle this one especially since I no longer have some hope of ‘maybe in four years…’
