      Immigrants are awesome. I only know a few, but the ones I know from Iraq, Iran, Syria, El Salvador, Colombia, are all insanely productive. Their work ethic is next-level above my own, and I don’t consider myself particularly lazy even if my 2 jobs is less than my dad’s record of 5.

      Tech, service, trades, proserv; landed immigrants show us how to get shit done.

      Child of an immigrant here. He was a professor. He created a department at his university that no one thought to create before that. He contributed to the education of an uncountable number of students. Quite a few of them wrote back to him over the years to tell him how much his classes meant to them.

      Fuck anti-immigrant assholes. My dad probably did more than most of them to make this country better.

                I’ve mentioned several times that children and animals and maybe carless vegans are not at fault. So sure, we can have FEMA save these people. Everyone else voted for this with their actions and choices. They wanted this.

                Also, living in deserts and shitholes like Florida and Louisiana is a choice. Why do I have to pay for people’s horrible choices? This isn’t Pakistan where the whole country is an oven you can’t escape. Move somewhere, stop eating meat, vote for progressive policies. Or die. Honestly at this point I think we are all doomed so whatever.
