Don’t give undue weight to the wormtongues and trolls who try to drown out your joy. Ignore them. They are unfortunate souls, and worthy only of our pity.

I’m enjoying it, too. It’s not perfect, but it’s quality entertainment. And it has rekindled my interest in the lore.

The criticism I’ve seen is either from tweedy Tolkien purists (who are seldom happy about anything) or from immature types who want a badass action-packed sword and sorcery series.

Still not that great but better than the first season so far.

If only the writing was as good as the audiovisual…

Im watching for the audiovisual too. The universe is great but to me that’s like a parallel one to the real Tolkien one.

Same for me. I think of it as reenactors putting on a play for us. Doesn’t have to be perfect to be good.

Loving it so far. The score alone is worth the watch.

Annatar and Celebrimbor are the best parts of the season so far, hands down - their dynamic is hard carrying the show for me. Numenor was pretty cool too. The rest is either okay or dull. Still going to stick with it though!
