Eh. I’ll be there when AOC’s on the ballot.

edit: FFS, y’all are trigger-happy. I’m voting like my life depends on it — because it very likely will, and anyone who thinks otherwise is selling you something. I’m forced to vote for anyone who won’t immediately deport/murder/imprison me or my community. I’ll BE THERE when AOC is on the ballot. Fucking simmer, people.

That’s not at all what I “mentioned”, but A for effort, citizen.

I too would love to vote for AOC, which is precisely why her endorsement matters to me.

I trust her judgment enough to want to elect her, so I also trust her judgment that the best path forward right now is to support Harris.

Your not being there will help the people who don’t want there to be any more ballots.

You forgot the “eh” in your edit. That indicates apathy and disdain for the current fight against fascism and Project 2025. Obviously you can do whatever you want, but that’s the reason for the downvotes.

It would be weird for Democratic women of color to come out against a Democratic woman of color.

While true, it should not mean they automatically support her. That’s tokenism. However, of shes got the credentials, which KH has, they would be foolish not to support her.

They could support another candidate, however, that would show disunity. Better to band together with an acceptable candidate, at this point.

By all accounts, she is acceptable and she was made VP knowing Biden was old and planned to step down.

However, they should also do so knowing the establishment of the Democratic party are out if touch and have no problem pushing their own agenda even when its clear that its a bad plan. A la Biden first time, pushing out Sanders, Clinton, dumping biden second time. All against supposed principles.

America is so racist. It’s strange.

I would think her policy and strength as a person would be the factors worth considering.

Please to see some of you are just thinking about casting though.

Ah, you must be one of those people who agree with the Supreme Court that believes we’re in a post-racial society!

No racism or sexism problems in Amerika! /s

Depends which society you are referring to. I’m Irish I love in Ireland. And although I make no claims that Ireland is post racial… it’s sure af less racial alliance round than America.

I lived there too. Firs time I ever heard the n word being used with full unabashed sincerity. At the age of… 25 odd.

I still feel their strong support for Biden to stay in was a red herring to confuse Republicans. Also nothing good would come from the progressive coalition calling for Biden to step down. It was a wise move.

I think they were arguing for stability (and against people arguing for AOC to jump in the ring), more than anything. Now there’s a clear path forward.

Harris should name AOC, Omar, or Bernie VP. With the name recognition of any of those three, and AOC’s social media savvy, they should be able to crush Trump come November.

Nah. VP pick is part of the “min” in a min-maxing strategy. Harris will pick a walking mayo and white bread sandwich with a penis between the legs.

I think you’re half correct. It’s going to be Buttigieg. Not your average mayo and white bread guy but a mayo and white bread guy. It would make for a strong ticket with a lot of appeal. With the bonus of not having a contestable senate seat or governorship because he’s currently a US secretary.
