Yeah that religion which comprises less than 7% of the UK population is clearly a massive threat. Whereas the one that runs at 45% of the population and has laws mandating its use in schools and legal institutions and has 26 members in the House Of Lords, the only country apart from Iran to appoint religious leaders to law making positions, is obviously no threat to liberty at all.

It is amazing how Britain purports to be a secular state while having a state religion.

But the one that runs at 7% actively tries to enforce its beliefs and culture onto the others.

The 45% one isn’t nearly as vociferous and violent as the 7% one. It’s pretty much grown out of that after being here for a couple of thousand years. Most people only pay lip service anyway.

Sorry to be blunt but that’s utter rubbish. The 45% one has bishops in the house of lords - they help craft actual laws that actually affect us all.

It’s funny how you give Anglicans the benefit of saying

Most people only pay lip service anyway.

But you don’t give Muslims the same consideration, instead calling them vociferous and violent. Why not assume that most just pay lip service like the Anglicans do? Or do you really believe that all Muslims are extremists?

          I didn’t say all - you did.

I don’t see many teachers in hiding from enraged extremists of other religions.

Keep your head in the sand - and it’ll all go away.
