Apparently, I had to type in !piracy@lemmy.ml instead of just piracy and it does work. Now, I guess, that’s one disadvantage of lemmy?

Because that’s partially the purpose of having different instances.
Administrators have control over how much reach (be in or out) communities have in their respective instances.
very interesting. Although, I feel like this one was different since entering !piracy@lemmy.ml worked
