My Linux laptop has a matte display, which is healthier than glossy displays. It has a standard keyboard, without Command and other Apple-only nonsense. And it runs Linux, which is way better than macOS and checks all of my boxes.

What are some of your favourite PS2 games?1·1 day agoŌkami was ported to so many platforms now (rightfully so, since it’s a must-have for anyone who’s a real gamer) that I no longer see it as a PS2 title. I truly miss the awesome Castlevania titles and Gradius V. It’s a crime that they haven’t been ported to the Switch.

Android phones are objectively better than iPhones. Linux laptops are objectively better than MacBooks. Not to mention significantly cheaper.

vegetvs@kbin.earthto movies@lemm.ee•Which movie do you feel has the most wasted potential?1·9 days agoSame here. Pretty disappointed with how the momentum created with Prometheus got lost in Covenant and then how the saga completely derailed with this last excuse of an entry. Romulus is an offense to the watcher’s intelligence and a spit in the face of long-time Alien fans. There’s no script there and it adds absolutely nothing to the series.
Classics like The Incredible Machine and Ultima 8 come to mind.

But anyone who looks behind China's rhetoric will recognize the conditions: no criticism, no questions, no objections.1·11 days agoI this really what became of Europe now? Being passively relying on the next big economy (bye bye US, hello China) to pop in and lead the way? It’s just so frustratingly mediocre.
Great game indeed. It was really fun finding every secret thing.
I’ve got Dark Souls and Sniper Elite 2. Both games seem decent so far.
