there are some discord servers and webpages to play online, even some applications that the DM can control the map, monsters and all of that, I have played like that only one time as my schedule is not so good, and I prefer in person, but, there are a looot of people that does it online… I have a friend in Spain that have like 4 different campaigns that he plays and 2 where he is the DM
I hope that it goes well indeed
too much sugar in peanut butter? at least from where I am, it isn’t really sweet, and, I’m used to put unsalted toasted peanuts in the blender and make my own, without anything else added, and it’s great! I even use it when cooking some meals and they end very tasty
so happy for you! hope that everything goes well, and even if there are some bumps in the way, that the majority of the time are inevitable, my good energy goes that you have a great time with your friends
for which time? or the first time? if it’s the first, you are for a treat
which DnD are you playing? Table top or online?
great photo!! where it is?
hey! been using the app this week and is being great so far, but one point that irks me is if I’m in the notifications section and press the back button, I expect to go back to the feed or previous section I was, but it just closes the app and I have to see my reflection on the screen.
the other things I think has been mentioned, like, support for more piefed settings like polls and the like
thanks for this app!
ok, who is the one that is pumping the average up so much?
yeah, killing the animals so you can consume their flesh, after all their lives being in a enclosed space designed to maximise the profits, isn’t bad or torture for the animals. the bad things happening to them from that life is just a byproduct of wanting to use their corpses for other things, so it can be considered torture, right?
it doesn’t matter what is the explicit or direct intent, they are being abused, mistreated and tortured, just for personal and human gain.
you can torture other people physically, emotionally or psychologicaly without it being the direct intent for your actions, but the torture will still be there.
I can see it, I’m more inclined for it being a gas dryer
you can’t kill ethically a fish, cow, pig, dog, etc.
sometimes there are “humane” times you have to kill, for some reason, another animal, because they are really suffering and it’s impossible to bring them to health. anything else, is unnecessary.
There are a lot of alternatives for a plant based diet, and being healthy, you have to be informed to know what to eat, and with which thing combine it (rice and beans, together, are a complete protein). there is tofu, seitan, different types of grains and legumes that are protein complete or that you can complete between them
oh, I’m baffled and shocked, it appears that the new generations, that have no place to live, earns like shit and have no true career paths, don’t want to bring a child to a world that seems to be every day worse… (and I said this as a person that lives and work outside of the US).
My country is accepting immigrants because usually they bring childs or have childs so the process to stay is way easier as the child would be from our country nationality, as the people from here also aren’t having children per the high cost of living and low paying jobs.
I have a good job with a good pay, and even I, that have a wife, don’t consider having children, as we rent because it’s impossible to buy a home, and we don’t see how we could really support having children and giving it a good life…
the posts and comments will still live in other instances, but yeah, they should be looking for another one
they don’t want to think about it, or they directly think that all animals doesn’t feel pain (or that the pain they suffer it’s not important because they are just animals and “we as humans, are above them”.
As a kid I liked to go fishing with my step father, and we (or at least I) never thought about what the fish felt, as they were so different to us, and they taught us that this was normal and fun.
It was years later that I really thought about it.
really hope you find a place like that!
I have been in a great place to work for 5 years now, and now I even have people under me that I have to take care of and I also treat them with the same way my different bosses has treated me here, being nice and with respect.
one of the core “principles” of the company is “People first”, and even, as they are still a company and some cold decisions have been made, they truly follow this concept.
at least 98% of the workers there are nice and help each other, they don’t give you crap if you need to disconnect and go out, or if you have problems outside and need to go out, etc.
Sometimes I dread to wake up and go to work, because, in the end, I have to wake up and go to work and be there great part of the day, but I’m grateful that is being for this company where im being respected and treated like a person.
crazy, I was thinking of buying an humidifier!
