If someone is unironically basing a sense of gender superiority on having pockets I feel bad for them.
nandeEbisu@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Hollow Knight: Silksong is out now on Steam - and it broke Steam servers for 30 minutes and counting nowEnglish1·14 天前Sounds like you’d rather watch a movie or show. Not a knock. I tend to not engage with plot in games unless it’s like BG3 where it’s fundamental. I like that for TV and movies, I just have the director giving me the optimal way to engage with their story and themes.
I am a sucker for a good magic or power system, so will happily explore through skill trees and the like.

With AI deep fakes being used for ransoms, this actually isn’t a terrible idea.
Its tongue in cheeck. Of all the inequalities between women and men this is super low on the list. Have you heard how actual misogynists speak?
Cope and seethe women!
Until you’re walking with the wind and it flies up into your face.

Right? I assume its like a pizza on a tortilla or something, not like a slice from a 14" round.

The kind of hateful rhetoric and grooming are not unique to 4chan, they happen on Facebook, discord, and roblox. 4chan has just been a minimally filtered representation of underground online cultures for decades now meaning it’s still just as much a font of creativity as it is a cesspool of internet refuse.
Kids start drinking watered down fru-fru coffee, right after the last early dynastic king falls and Sumer is taken over by Lagash?
Sounds to me like watered down coffee is a pretty reliable indicator for the collapse of the current state.

Developing technologies means mitigating negative externalities. You don’t just design a pressure cooker and ignore the possibility it might explode because you “can’t force people to not leave it unattended”, you spend the extra time and money to design and install a safety valve.
Researching and playing around.
Where are you starting? This topic is extremely deep, but I think to start you should understand how most parsers work, poke around wikipedia to understand lexical analysis, context-free grammars and check the links. Play around with python libraries like Lark https://lark-parser.readthedocs.io/en/stable/how_to_use.html#getting-started
They have some examples of writing custom parsers https://github.com/lark-parser/lark/tree/master/examples
Or pick your starting point for wikipedia rabbit holes. I’m not a hugely opinionated language person, I have the features I’m used to using and semantics I prefer but don’t really get opinionated about the actual syntax of most languages.
There’s LALR parsers https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LALR_parser
Parse trees https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parse_tree
Reverse Polish Notation and Shunting-Yard for the old school stuff https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse_Polish_notation
I guess my generation (mid-30s) people who grew up interesting in computers often went through a whole language phase. I picked it up professionally and was more interested in it as a tool, rather than a purely academic pursuit, but understanding fundamentals helps you a lot when it comes to executing on whatever project interests you.

I live in New York City, there are a lot of bloated non profits that are just used as slush funds for rich people and networking. I’ve met a few people on occasion who work in non profits that do things like provide hiring metrics for other non profits instead of actually doing direct good, so you really need to be careful who you donate to.
I’m sorry that Germany also has long term issues with its social safety net, but it’s morbidly reassuring as an American to hear we’re not going to be the only ones on the sinking ship.
Any kind of savory soup, just toss one or two in. Took me a few years, but managed to use up my star anise that way.
Well that’s clearly on the wife for letting him leave the house like that.
He doesn’t even need to focus on it, he just need to tangentially allude to it and suddenly a bunch of these hack rags will end up treating it like its the capstone of his policy agenda.
