haui@lemmygrad.mlto World News@lemmygrad.ml•The difference between real government and fake one illustrated by the response to floods in China and in Texas8·5 days agoIts hard to listen to honest summaries and the pain and suffering the dying western hegemony causes. But its also painful to think about the excuses I would hear from every westerner I would show this to, including crocodile tears about how one cant criticize a response when people died while they do the same with other countries all the time. Its disheartening.
haui@lemmygrad.mlto Comradeship // Freechat@lemmygrad.ml•Fellow American Comrades, how were you able to overcome the liberal propaganda?8·6 days agoExactly and that compounds. There is this saying “you can pull someone oyt of the gutter but never the gutter out of them.” Today i still get irrationally angry if someone wastes food or behaves wasteful or careless with my stuff. This shit stays.
And 20 yrs later you talk to a colleague and they rip into another colleague for wearing the same pants as yesterday
I would not piss on these people if they were on fire. I know its cruel and unepathetic. I dont care. I simply dont. I know I should, but i dont.
haui@lemmygrad.mlto Comradeship // Freechat@lemmygrad.ml•Fellow American Comrades, how were you able to overcome the liberal propaganda?8·6 days agoBeing poor does that. When you’re bot able to attend school stuff bc they cost money or not having food at school or having to run around in hand me down clothing that doesnt sit properly, cheap shoes, etc. Kids notice. Boy do they notice. And being autistic on top didnt help the slightest.
But it still took nearly four decades to understand the roots of it all. I kinda started out slighty anarchist without knowing the term, very ungovernable. Much later I understood. Met other anarchists, got kinda bad vibes from them but couldn’t immediately point it out. Started reading, got the hint immediately. Today I avoid anarchist groups and here we are. :)
It really started when the covid clusterfuck ruined me. Then nothing, then my home country started drifting to the right, then politicians and media started to deviate from the reality on the streets. They kept underreporting stuff, overrepresenting different stuff and I began seeing the patrern everywhere. Again, thank autism I guess. :)
it sounds kinda ambiguous at first but the article is a pretty good read imo. it depicts the “perfection” that is used to display victims n gaza and which (imo) was used against them when people fought back. The western leaders and press used this to switch from “tragedy” to “rightful counterattack” instead of understanding the horrendous situation in its entirety.

haui@lemmygrad.mlto Palestine@lemmygrad.ml•Israel said that it will not accept Hamas’ conditions for a ceasefire in Gaza8·12 days agoFrom my understanding, israel was put in the region by western colonialist powers through force and would have no legitimacy whatsoever. Correct me if I’m wrong.
After what happened in gaza and and other places, the whole population of israel must be tried for genocide and individually sentenced, based on their participation, same as citizens and heads of states of other countries worldwide.
Since the palestinian people can not live peacefully with unconvicted warcriminals (who would?), the situation in gaza and all other surrounding areas must be stabilized by someone who only cares about the oppressed (who always are the only ones that matter) and then, the future of the region must be determined by all people who live there and nobody else.
This may mean a one state solution but it is only for them to decide and western intervention is out of the question from that point forward.
haui@lemmygrad.mlto US News@lemmygrad.ml•Don’t call it ‘Alligator Alcatraz.’ Call it a concentration camp.13·12 days agoI just saw a text saying something along the lines: “concentrations camps, as seen by the soviets and germans” and it shook me. Even natopedia does not list the soviet union as users of concentration camps. Is there any good ressource to refute such a stupid claim?
haui@lemmygrad.mlto US News@lemmygrad.ml•‘They’re Not Breathing’: Inside the Chaos of ICE Detention Center 911 Calls7·13 days agoI dont think prison is an appropriate term. Although the prison system in the US is arguably a gruesome torture industry, this has much more similarities with the german concentration camps. The chaotic, inhumane housing of masses of people in the worst of conditions with no regard to human rights and sometimes even active participation in torture and murder.
Btw concentration camps were (in the beginning) not where they primarily killed people. They detained them under very similar conditions and a lot of them died there a most gruesome death but they had “Vernichtungslager” as well which had the primary use of industrially killing men, women and children, burning them and or burying them (sometimes alive).
This is fascism. There are no two ways about it. We are watching the beginning of another reich. Capitalism is pulling out the knives.
Its schroedingers everything outside nato. Russia is both completely incompetent but will overrun germany tomorrow (not joking, thats how german fear media argues). China is infiltrating the whole world with infrastructure that is both supporting terror regimes and too cheap to last a week, same as their engineers being slaves and building the most advanced buildings in the world.
I could go on for days. I recently dropped out of the brainwash machine and i’m regularly speechless of the mountain of lies.
Is there any literature on how the west was able to build this manipulation empire?
haui@lemmygrad.mlto US News@lemmygrad.ml•Military leaders aghast as Meta’s Zuckerberg crashes classified Oval Office meeting5·14 days agoFor the most part, he’s not wrong to do so. Unlike in most other administrations where the president’s office is a tightly-controlled environment with only a select few top aides given so-called “walk-in privileges,” Trump’s Oval is the center of his world of friends, confidantes, advisers and employees who often mill about nearby in the West Wing, even when they might not have much to do there.
I mean, sure. Thats totally normal, right?
Awesome! I run a luanti server (essentially open source minecraft).

haui@lemmygrad.mlto Technology@lemmygrad.ml•People Are Being Involuntarily Committed, Jailed After Spiraling Into "ChatGPT Psychosis"4·17 days agoYou’re right. Its not a new model. That doesnt make it less stigmatizing imo. Example: autistic people are a lot more prone to stress induced mental health issues. This shifts the view from the capitalist murder machine to people who are “vulnerable”. That is the capitalist problem. Individualizing systemic issues. Industrial exploitation shouldnt exist, people who cant deal with that arent vulnerable, they are sane.
And no, imo people dont have to have a preexisting condition to fall prey to high tech emotional manipulation. Such tech should not exist.
haui@lemmygrad.mlto Technology@lemmygrad.ml•People Are Being Involuntarily Committed, Jailed After Spiraling Into "ChatGPT Psychosis"42·17 days agoWell, someone who is diagnosed with a mental health thing obviously counts as preexisting condition.
but interacting with a bleeding edge manipulation bot imo has no real known vulnerable groups.
it hasnt been scientifically examined before, which is its own clusterfuck.
Tldr: everyone has “preexisting conditions” if you throw untested malicious programmes at them. Its like saying a company has preexisting conditions to get hijacked by ransomware. Or a person has preexisting conditions to getting kidnapped.
It is individualizing a systemic issue.
“They’re walking wall street bankers onto the ice”
I dont see a problem wit this.
haui@lemmygrad.mlto Technology@lemmygrad.ml•People Are Being Involuntarily Committed, Jailed After Spiraling Into "ChatGPT Psychosis"28·17 days agoEveryone has certain traits. There are no “preexisting” conditions as binary things like a missing leg. Its more like a weak point in the spine that wasnt that bad but when they overextended it, it went bad. It would be kinda ableist to lable people who push these labels on people who cant handle literal manipulation machines.
Humans should not use AI unless absolutely necessary. Same as regular tv, gambling, etc. All this stuff is highly dangerous.
