@Sepix one thing to add - you can’t use pixelfed.de through a profile. profiles are view-only.

hiya, pixelfed.de admin here.your chaos.social profile (this one) is a profile, not an account. this is the view :pixelfed:.de has of your chaos.social account.
your actual pixelfed.de account has login through mastodon, which just means that instead of giving your password your mastodon account tells pixelfed.de that it’s okay to log in.
so you do have one account with us, but two profiles. profiles get created automatically whenever the instance gets knowledge of a fedi account.

@Sepix when you look at a profile, and it just says “@username”, that’s an account pixelfed.de. when it says “@username@some.host” thats a profile of a remote user (on some.host).
yes, delete actions get federated, meaning pixelfed.de gets notified when you delete stuff on chaos.social. they don’t always get transmitted in time, so it can take a while for a post to be deleted everywhere, or if the message gets lost, your post stays on remote instances.
