That is a bad test, as you would react differently, if an adult asks or a child.
Tenoteve@feddit.orgto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What administrative powers exist among workspaces in the software industry and why?11·4 months agoEven if people working in the field know, what is safe and what not, it does not mean, that the company, product or customer is safe, too.
First, if something goes wrong, you need to prove, that everyone did the right things. This is difficult of everyone had unrestricted access to everything. Think of a company with thousands of workers…
Second, if everyone has access rights, hacking one account of a company means, that the hacker has access to everything too.
Third, not everyone is always doing everything in good intent. If someone has been fired, they might be angry and just delete the most important files.
Fourth, mistakes happen.

Anti-queer campaigner Kellie-Jay Keen fails to get visa.27·7 months agoThe visa is being given by the country you want to go to, not the one you come from. It’s also only a personal belief, if you don’t want something for yourself. But as soon as you tell other people what you want them to do, it’s not personal any more. Mind your own business
Thanks for your response.
Also, the accuracy is not as important as you may think. The app shall motivate to move more, by walking. Depending on the study you chose science suggests between 2000 and 10000 steps a day. That is a huge range and will even put the inaccuracies.
Help again. So first, some searching brought me to this page: https://www.androidauthority.com/best-pedometer-apps-step-counter-apps-for-android-852651/
The chapter about"smartphones vs fitness tracker accuracy" describes the issue a bit.
I also checked with my phone a bit. Test results 100 steps with phone in back pocket 103 steps counted 100 steps with phone in hand moving the hand 73 steps 100 steps moving phone between hand and pocket 112 steps.
The test itself is also not perfect, but time… You know.
As a hint, I started using the app in the current wave. So I’m not very experienced yet. But as a software tester in Android development I can give some insights on the matter. Step counting itself is likely done somewhere else, like Android or iOS, and the value is read out by Walkspace (developers please correct me). The step counting mechanism also can be inaccurate. For example, taking the bus on a bumpy roads can be counted as steps in some cases. I can try testing it for you tomorrow, as accurately as I possible can without additional tools and only with one phone. I will come back with an average accuracy.
Nein. Hat schon mehrfach nicht funktioniert, denen eine Bühne zu überlassen. Anscheinend waren ein paar Leute im Geschichtsunterricht zu oft abwesend.
