It might be that you’ve heard of the alternative client, Runelite. This is still osrs on the same servers. It is just a different client with more bells and whistles. I highly recommend it! You can even launch it directly from the jagex launcher now.

There is also the new AI response button. But not everyone sees that. I think that’s the biggest reason for this change. It looks better than the couple other ways they demoed the ai smart reply ui.

Actually, it can do a fair bit of the voice assistant stuff now. It’s a bit more janky than off the shelf solutions, but it can be done. It was their big push this year with the “year of voice”.

I have to use the website. The app won’t work. But the website does function for PayPal for me.

They offered me a return/repurchase at current price, so I took that. Gives me some cash back to spend on games 🤷‍♂️
