Just switched to Lemmy for this exact reason! Got banned for god knows why and immediately deleted Reddit.

Will definitely check out some of these other communities as well. With “liberalgunowners” being a very active community on reddit and a lot of people jumping ship this week, hopefully they’ll be attracted here by the identical community name

It’s a pretty hard question to answer when there isn’t someone actually pointing a gun at you. This takeover/infiltration of our nation is happening in a “nonviolent” way thus far and through the guise of “democracy” so it’s hard to feel justified in taking up arms at this point, though it certainly is something on many peoples’ minds. How far is too far? It’s really hard to tell and this all still feels surreal to a lot of people.

Came here to make a liberalgunowners community and am glad to see someone else had the same idea! All three of my reddit accounts simultaneously got permabanned today and have been periodically getting temp banned over the past month after going 10 years without ever getting banned on reddit. Reddit is cooked if you ask me. Deleted the app and happy to find community here now instead. Let’s see some feet pics… i mean gun pics!
