I think if you are privileged enough to grow up in America, and you hate America, there is something wrong with you. Yeah Unger people these days don’t just criticize America… They actively hate it without recognizing the privilege they have. It seems to be a failure of education and their own sense of worth. We live in one of the most free nations in the world. One of the safest. One that gives the most opportunity. But they get caught up in echo chambers that promote failed economic systems. It’s really frustrating to observe.

Found the person who can’t make an independent coherent argument for their case, so they resort to overused name-calling.

Why does that matter, exactly? New accounts aren’t allowed to have an opinion? Or state facts?

Those “peaceful protestors” were smashing windows and camping in tents on the lawn of the Universities. And that’s not even the worst part, where they are actively supporting Hamas. Sounds like they’re just angry about facing consequences, to me.

I took my kids to this when it first came out. My youngest daughter was about 5, I think. During this scene she just couldn’t contain herself and when the music kicked in she stood up and started dancing! The theater wasn’t packed, so there was plenty of room. Everyone in the theater started laughing and clapping and we’re really sweet. After the movie a bunch of people came over to tell her she was a good dancer. Made her feel like a star!

My son and I have watched this movie too many times to count. Since it’s high tech, low life… Dystopian, and style over substance, I would call it cyberpunk personally.
