@Pirate@piaille.fr Merci beaucoup
@kolombiken@front-end.social yeah, a distinctive sound they have.
This bird was about 6m from me.
@Jennifer@m.ai6yr.org thank you Jennifer. I like that you can see its tongue
@Cotopaxi@mstdn.social Me too. Robins are great for this as they come so close and are not as twitchy as most birds.
@Ardeija@literatur.social True and just as well cos I took loads today 😂
@Sarcophagus@lemmy.world art of photography :). For me it’s not about art at all, it’s a tool that helps me document the beauty that already exists in nature. With nature, manufacturing scenes or framing goes out the window generally, you take a shot or you miss it. If by art you mean photography skills, then self taught is the way I like it, learn as you go. Obviously cameras and lenses are important, though not so much for landscapes and stationary scenes, but for me, the kit needs to be long and fast
@mike_vlasman@cosocial.ca it’s his 90’s shoegazing (90’s Indie music followers) look
@pussreboots@sfba.social they are often brought in to manage habitat (keep grasses and certain shrubs low). But lovely animals to have on your doorstep.
@WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.world I’m not sure that Shed hunting is a thing over here.
@SnowChickenFlake@sh.itjust.works thank you
@Gethund@lemm.ee II know the feeling. I saw 2 in my first two years of photographing birds, but I’ve seen about 12 since Christmas this year 😀
@ArnoJanBoere@mastodon.nl Certainly was. Great part of our country and I needed the walk too. Totally refreshed for the week ahead now

Redshank
@hamsterhuey@wandering.shop Nope, it’s about the same here, just with scale as there are hundreds of them 😂
@Herman@mastodon.world thanks Herman…
@whelk@lemm.ee Sorry about that, it’s my duty to be friends to all birds. Geese are fine, unless they have young, then you can’t blame them for being protective (which they are pretty good at)
@notabot@lemm.ee 😂 If you want it to live in you’re head a little longer the video can be found here https://mastodonapp.uk/@stubacon/114094522814961659
@chewie@mammut.gogreenit.net I love cauliflowers, I seem to have something in common with Pigeons 😂
@Firlefanz@writing.exchange excellent. Gannets are my fave…
