Thanks for checking back, but the other comments mentioned tweaking ProtonTricks and that got rid of the error.

Thank you so much. This worked like a charm but now that the error is gone it tries to launch the Rockstar Launcher but crashes without any error messages.
Oh wow, I don’t know hos I missed this post on Proton DB, but thanks for posting it here. It got rid of the error but now I tries to launch the Rockstar Launcher but doesn’t launch either.
Sorry I didn’t mention, but I am using Steam flatpack.
I already tried to install those, they’re too old to even install. Thanks for the reply anyway.
Try Evernote maybe?
Wow! This sounds really interesting. I am definitely intrigued by your idea. If this was an existing game today I would for sure give it a chance.
I would practice soldering at least a few times before trying it on the phone, but at this point you don’t really have a choice. Moving forward buy a phone like the Asus Zenphone10 which has the battery glued shut but the back is plastic which would make it far easier to remove than a glass back phone. And bonus this phone has a headphone jack as well.
True, but might as well put up a good fight while we’re at it.
True, but things like banking and e-commerce are another very large part of the things people do on the Internet, and those are more likely to follow along than not.
Honestly I am in the same boat, but big banks still make a large portion of the banking system and I don’t why the smaller banks wouldn’t just follow along.
It’ll be next to impossible when those websites are your bank and Netflix etc.
Time to De-Google I guess. I will keep using Firefox and if or when I come across any website pulling this crap I won’t hesitate to blast them to eternity. I suggest everyone else do the same please.
Google is actively trying to drive people like me away. I have been trying my hardest to keep using Android, if Google keeps this up I might have to unwillingly move to Apple. At least they do more than just pretend to care about their users’ privacy.
Yes, but the idea is that because the code is open source anyone can look at it and determine on their own whether it is in fact safe or not. Generally speaking the open source community is very good at figuring this kind of stuff out but I would say your fear is not necessarily out of place since nothing is 100% guaranteed. That said though, the more popular FOSS apps are quite safe.
Derek AKA Veritasium is one of my favorite YouTubers. He is always so detail oriented, I am always eager for his next project. This one is no different, amazing work.
Very cool, seems very promising.
Oh! true, completely slipped my mind. Install it in another PC or use an M.2 enclosure with USB C to partition it and clone the original.
I don’t own a Steamdeck myself but since it’s Arch Linux based there should be a partitioning tool like GParted built in.
Do away with coach’s review if the refs are still going to stick with a bad call even after reviewing the play for 10+ mins and destroying the flow of the game.
