I’ve not had this happen on my ancient Dell laptop with Fedora-Gnome, so maybe a KDE hiccup? Have you tried an upgrade to 41?
The OS listing of Mint and Ubuntu is just begging for a distro war. Better off leaving the listing at Linux and BSD.
