@dgerard i couldn’t parse the title for like 30 seconds
@hrrrngh @gerikson Pretty sure that’s that person deleting their account and not a ban, bans look a bit different (e.g. https://lobste.rs/~AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
@dgerard can peter singer ai sing
still waiting for the massive potato casserole hypewave
@self did somebody make an extension that replaces github copilot with ELIZA yet
@self If you fork/make a custom version of the software will you call it WriteAwfully
this seems more like a Mastodon thing, considering that if I curl the post with Accept: application/activity+json
it doesn’t have a link to the Lemmy thread, it has the link actually embedded in the post
I think Mastodon does this for other AP object types (like articles, e.g. if you put a link to a WriteFreely article into Mastodon it’ll just show the title and a link to the original post)
@froztbyte oh I absolutely hate using SMS for authentication
I had to do some eGovernment-related stuff recently and I think I had to wait for and type in an SMS one-time-code like 8 times until I got what I wanted
@zogwarg as somebody who is a fan of owls, oh god please no
maybe if we just prompt ChatGPT to be AGI we will immediately get a hyperintelligent robot waifu
it would honestly be incredibly fucking funny if OpenAI decides to declare that they have reached AGI
will they try to claim that Strawberry (or whatever the fuck the released version is called) is already AGI or will they try to bolt on even more shit on ChatGPT and claim that is AGI
@dgerard somebody should found a startup and sell ASMRs to Google and Amazon
@gerikson “Not only did he invent Bitcoin, he also invented time travel!”
@OmegaLemmy you can use mastodon to reply to Lemmy posts, yeah
if you put the url of the post in the mastodon search bar it’ll show up as a post that you can reply to
(I should probably get an actual Lemmy account, though - using my mastodon isn’t very comfortable)
