Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone recently teased some new additions coming to Stardew Valley in the game's upcoming 1.6 update.

    This update is mostly about making it easier for modding iirc, so while it will break your mods you hopefully wont really have to worry about it again after this update, and modders should have an easier time making cooler stuff now going forward
