According to two aerial geolocated videos posted on Wednesday by X user Osinttechnical, an account affiliated with the Centre for Naval Analyses, Ukraine appeared to strike the training area with three US-supplied M39 ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles.
I watched one of the videos earlier. The drone spotted the gathering and hung out for several minutes.
I learned a couple of things - those drones have awesome cameras. I don’t think any of the Zeds even knew it was there.
The other thing - ATACMS with (I’m guessing) cluster munitions will really fuck up any outdoor gathering.
There was one decent kaboom then lots of little ones. I imagine that a few thought it might have been artillery or a cruise missile. Then lots of other things went through their heads.
