Holy moly. Fingers crossed they’re able to convince NVIDIA to go full steam ahead on the open source driver.

Maybe they want a shot at the new console-like portable PC market and know Steam OS is the way. Or generative AI firms are demanding more openness to better advance the tech. Or both.
