          the US is making an effort to be diplomatic.

          “Diplomacy” is when you’re actively funding and supporting a genocide and defending your proxy’s escalations

          We are being diplomatic by allowing Israel to do whatever they want and then protecting them from the consequences of their own actions?

          If you actually believed what you said you wouldn’t allow Israel to keep escalating and trying to drag us into it.

      You have a shitty memory. Israelis themselves make the argument that Netenyahu started this by weakening the Gaza border before Oct 7th to reinforce troops in the West Bank. Do Palestinians in the West Bank have the right to defend themselves?

      And bombing a diplomatic building is a war crime, which Israel did when they targeted the Iranian consulate.

          Netenyahu allowed the deaths of over a thousand Israelis because he weakened the border. In ancient times, if any leader had a collosal fuck like this, they would be killed for treason.
