    I bet the (if my math is right) roughly 0.07% of people out there who have a birthday of February 29th run into so many weird one-off issues in software when doing normal stuff like applying for a job or a credit card or whatever.

      Yep!

      It’s generally gotten better in the last twenty years it used to be real bad on the early Internet. Very rarely nowadays I’ll run into a backend or frontend that won’t accept it.

    Except it’s not actually 1/1461 though. It’s not like you have sex and then a random number generator is used to determine how long the pregnancy will be. It’s probably more like 1/60 chance (allowing for early or late birth, as a rough guess). Of course, if you have a cork of just the right size you can eliminate the chance of a premature baby…
