Israeli government: “Clearly Amnesty International is anti-Semitic and are in league with Hamas.”

Does it really matter. when a country Like South Africa puts a solid case before the ICJ with solid documented proof about all genocidal attacks on civilians. The ICJ and the international community prefers to look away. and instead tells Israel to be more careful “next time”, as if what has been committed isn’t already enough.

Did you actually read the ICJ report, or are you copying someone else?

Because the incredibly detailed, balanced report does not say Israel is committing genocide, yet theses are the only two words from the report I ever see repeated.

      Among other things, it states:

      • there are significant concerns from both sides on human right issues, war crime and individual conduct.

      • there are credible claims that Israels actions can amount to genocide, and a call for a pause to conflict so claims can be investigated. Noting that 1, individual actions aren’t genocide, Israel has legal defenses on some that are claimed to be genocide that are being debated (namely attacks on civilian infrastructure and blocking aid).

      • Hamas is using civilian structures to conduct its own operations, putting civilians at risk.

      • Israel is destroying structures hamas is using, which is not a war crime. Notably, Hamas is a designated terrorist organization and its militants are not protected citizens anywhere, including hospitals and temples.

      • Hamas should immediately release all hostages unconditionally.

Two words from a massive detailed report. Noting on Hamas issues, nothing on Israel actions that are still being debated, nothing on the call to release all hostages immediately. If you want to discuss the best report to come out of this conflict, discuss it in its entirety and context - stop cherry picking facts that support your narrative.

You have read the publically available report, so you should already know what’s inside, or at the very least, how to access it, no?

The URL previously provided links directly to the source, hosted by the official ICJ website itself. If you are still having trouble getting past the bot verification, maybe it is time to take the hint.

They are tying their tongues in knots when the answer to South Africa’s case is really simple. Israel “IS COMITTING GENOCIDE” and it should stop.

there are significant concerns from both sides on human right issues, war crime and individual conduct.

it is Like saying we have heard you but Israel needs to finish the job here. So here is a token for All of you Allies Of Israel, Let’s All act concerned about Human rights violations and respecting international law so we can buy them more Time. and if any faction of your citizens criticize your inaction, you can refer to our decision as we are the sole jurors of international law.

So you are now arguing against the report you just championed as the final word in this conflicts actions? Where you are arguing against your own source?

SA did an amazing job brings facts and reason into a cluster fuck of poor knowledge, propaganda and assumptions without investigation. There are systems in place - let democracy, law and order do its job

let democracy, law and order do its job

As if the Entity currently committing Genocide isn’t considered a democracy. Or the one which invaded Iraq under the lie of them having nuclear weapons isn’t a democracy, and has resulted in hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths. or millions of death caused by colonialism of “European Domocracies” the biggest of which is the UK. I can go on and on about what democracies have committed around the world. you can still use it to pat yourselves on the back. but if you take a honest look you will see that democracies aren’t inherently better than other forms when it comes to criminal and imperialist conduct.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Human rights group Amnesty International said four sites hit by Israel in separate targeted attacks in Rafah that killed 95 civilians — including 42 children — were not lawful military targets, accusing Israel of direct war crimes for indiscriminate attacks.

The organization also alleged that Israel did not notify or warn civilians ahead of the strikes and that three of the attacks were carried out at night when families were likely to be asleep.

Netanyahu said Palestinian militant group Hamas, which Israel is vowing to destroy in response to the deadly attack Oct. 7, is hiding battalions in Rafah.

In the investigation, Amnesty International found at one site a GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb, a precision-guided weapon that is made in the U.S. by defense contractor Boeing.

President Biden has circumvented Congress twice to provide Israel with emergency military aid, to the ire of some Democrats.

Amnesty International documented the rubble at each of the sites and interviewed 18 Palestinians, including survivors of the attack, and analyzed the buildings with satellite imagery.

The original article contains 605 words, the summary contains 171 words. Saved 72%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

I’m guessing Israel wasn’t bombing hostages. Although that guess has been wrong a lot.

“Even if Israeli forces had intended to target legitimate military objectives in the vicinity, these attacks evidently failed to distinguish between military objectives and civilian objects and would therefore be indiscriminate,” Amnesty International said in the report. “Indiscriminate attacks that kill and injure civilians are war crimes.”
