Dictionaries contain words that potentially violate the law's broad language...

What’s next; banning certain letters from the alphabet, because they can be used for banned texts?

I vote we just ban DeSantis because he’s a dick. Clearly adult content…

Erdoğan unbanned the letters Q, W and X, which can be used for Kurdish texts, in his 2013 reforms, so I think it’d be a bit too soon to re-ban them now already, so that’s probably not next.

I had to look this up, but it is a fact that certain letters were banned. I should not be so amazed. Back in the 1960’s the Greek junta banned the letter Z, because it meant ‘he is alive.’

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_junta

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_(1969_film) the movie is a fictional, but based on the actual events.

I should not be so amazed.

The one thing that amazed me was that it was Erdoğan of all people who eventually found it politically expedient to lift the ban.

May as well also get rid of G for gender, H for healthcare, I for intersectionality, L for liberal, M for marijuana, N for nonbinary, O for orange, P for progressive, R for radical, S for socialism, U for union, and V for vaccine.

The most confusing thing about dictionaries is why are they so torn on the topic of bridges?

My mom always has an “unabridged” version but mine is a regular dictionary complete with the word “bridge”.

Maybe they go after all Christian books ,you know the ones praising the glory of Yahweh, which is just a semitic war god (if you pay attention to history).

Once when I was a kid, our pastor gave a sermon. Something about lions.

But he mixed up how to spell lions. He was old. So all the Bible verses he used were actually about loins.

That was a funny lesson and complete waste of time.

But there are a lot of loins in the King James Version

I mean it’s kinda satire in a way. Only one school district is interpreting the law this copiously. The others don’t seem to have trouble understanding the spirit of the law.
