I like this “Us and 690 partners” thing, it makes more people reject consent because it shows how creepy it is
Genuinely, how many websites that don’t need to show a cookie banner in the first place even exist?
Every website that does not store a login session don’t need to store cookies
You also don’t need to show a banner if you just store a login cookie. You only need to get consent for “tracking” cookies. Essential cookies that are required for the site to work are ok.
Until it becomes ‘us and our 1 partner that proxies it to another 1000’ and no laws ever think about regulating it because ‘its a great business decision!’
(not corruption no why wouk you ever think that you commie)
We’re all one family - all 786 of us
The family keeps getting bigger because they’re fucking us
It’s 784 partners + them + you
Now all of China care about your privacy.
And US three-letter agencies
“Yo dawg it’s cool, just me and my poly-tribe wanna look through your dox. Pinky promise no data brokers this time”
yeah, but not the right kind of care…
I mean they’re not wrong…
The final boss of polyamory
So much about the “we care”… Not even worth it, even for the free trials.
That sounds like Too Many Partners to me.
